Because it IS a collectable type item that is not made anymore & becoming pretty rare to find one available for sale.
They were a stock adder item that helped bring the mid-late 2002 Firehawk's & SS's to the 345hp rating.
They are far superior in construction to any aftermarket lid. And the flow ratings are as good as any aftermarket lid. The fit & finish is better than anything else out there.

Rare to find, & an excellent built lid.
(I have two of them in boxes in the attic that will not be sold any time soon.)

So your saying that the blackwing lid is a lot better fit than aftermarket slp lid? My slp lid fit like crap with the acordian style stock bellow, so i bought the smooth bellow and it fits a lot better, but still doesnt fit "fantastic"

Yes, the Blackwing lid fits like OEM product. Much better than some 'cheap' aftermarket lid.
