    Blackout the Bird?

So I'm undecided on if I should black out the WS6. It's just a black one with back TTM's. Everything else cosmentically is stock. Well, lowered too. Blah, regardless, my girl likes the look of blacked out ones. And I don't dislike them, eg, Big guns or w/e his name was had a pretty slick looking ta with a black/flat black combo. Thing is, idk if I wanna get rid of the taillights. I kinda like the red/black scheme of it. But, while undecided on if I should do the back or not, the front seems like I would enjoy it. Maybe... idk, any input? What looks better to you guys? I found this

I wouldn't blackout the tail lights, they are really awesome already. Don't mess with them, if you blackout anything do the turn signals and fog lights.

    Blacking everything out looks.....funky.
Too much black in my opinion. Doesn't flow well.

See, and I thought the same thing. Do the cars look better left alone cosmetically? Lightwise anyway, or do ya think the front end is fair game? I mean I don't really dislike the fog lights or anything so I may just leave them alone. I think I'm just going through a phase or something haha. I was contemplating getting rid of the ram air stickers on the hood but decided to keeo 'em. Make sure people know it's legit, not an aftermarket or anything. Good move in your opinion fellas?

Also, Luos, how's that TBSS treating you anyway?

Loving it. Needs a little more power and a tune, but not until the bumper to bumper is up.

Here is what I did with mine when I had it....

As if you don't know, was a beautiful car. So you blacked out the fog lights and blinkers only? The link I posted, not sure if you looked, seems to only cover the complete front end. Would you recommend getting these? What did you use for the amber side lights?

Oh ok, sorry the picture didn't really show it that well. Fair enough, that sounds like a good idea. Leave the rear red bird logo on there too? I don't think I'd wanna take that off either.

Wow, that stuff is a lot cheaper than I figured. Didn't know it was a spray. I just may do that, tomorrow Appreciate the help sir.

    Not a problem.
Pick up some rattle can clear coat as well. Write-ups all over the net on how to spray so they look good.

I did leave the rear bird alone. I did add the CETA WS.6 badge though.

Is this VHt (and I suppose rattle can) available at local places or is this something I need to order? Asked advance here and they basically told me to f off lol.
And I wasn't aware the CETA had a different badge?

    Go here www.afterthoughtsauto.com
They have the VHT blackout paint.

This is what I have done to mine. If you are looking for appearance mod ideas to do. I really like it, subtle (well the color may not be ) but looks great.

I need to black out my side markers, it looks odd.

I have the same kit from ws6store. Better than rattle can cause when you get bored with them they POP off. Onlything I did blackout permanently was my fading 3rd brake light. I used a spray gun and regular auto clear with a few drops of black since the VHT looked like crap on my friends I have never tried it so can't say of it was him or the product. Order some clear Sidemarkers if you wanna black them out they look cleaner at night than the factory Orange and red. I have blacked out a lot of people lights for them and it is a matter of personal taste I liked it then got bored and went all clear. plus the blacked out fogs mad the hid kit dimmer so it made no sense to me.

Ryan, not with or against you.

Just stating that I have done the VHT NiteShades treatment to my previous T/A and my current TBSS....and never had those problems.
It takes time, but if you take this time it turns out great.

I agree, having an accent color (IE red/chrome/white) keeps some uniqueness to it.

Try blacking out the small things, like mentioned, the running lights and 3rd brake light. Maybe the DRL's after that. Just IMO.
