birds can't really fly or go off-road very well=(
well, friday night on my way home, hit black ice no weight in the back. it lost it hit a curb at 40 MPH. went air-born, slid into an open field. messed up my nitto's, polished stock rims, small crack in the front bumper. and bent the crap out of my driver side spindle.
things i learned that night.
birds can only fly momentarly, even though you have an aftermarket "off-road" Y-pipe doesn't mean you should really go off-road.
and the car will never be driven when the temp is under 50-.-
bad news. no heads/cam for awhile
good news. i got real chrome TA rims with the WS.6 center cap instead of it saying ABS got some g-force 285 40 17 bfgoodwrench tires for 75$ each:P
bad news again. no heads/cam-.-................
i apolgize for the whining but i gotta get out my frustration somehow

sorry to hear that man!! the main thing is that you are ok, and you didn't kill your bird.
but where did you get the tires that cheap?

glad your ok. I hit ice with my T/A last friday and bounced off of a couple vehicles and a guard rail. The car is pretty smashed, and I'm pretty banged up, but at least my son is ok.

ice turned black from car exhaust and road grime. blends in with the road well enough that you can't see it until your basically on top of it.

^^^ Good Answer but heres one from my FMCSR: basicly long pages short is thin clear ice that developes on the road hence the name black ice. One important thing to look out for to see if the road looks glary with the sun, or shiny at night. In my experiences ive never seen balck ice, but the book says once youre on top if it. dont use the brakes nor any Retarders. just let off the gas untill you regain traction, pull over when its safe and wait there untill it clears. Again this is a procedure for heavy vehicles.

UKXK189 i'm really sorry to here about your wreck i am glad to hear your son made it throw ok. how old is he?
same to your SAGGIN and to everyone elses F-body/goat
thanks forall the concern guys:P i feel loved.
what really suprised me was that a fellow TA guy drove by and swung back around to see if i needed help..which is really strange considering for the most part all f-body people hate each other here
well since tomorrow is friday hopefully i will not have problems..it just snowed here and theres only ice left >< wish me luck
