    Best TA Exhaust

What is the best exhaust for a TA? I was looking at the SLP Loudmouth. Any pros / cons of different exhausts? It would go on my 2000 TA, stock. Thanks!

No one best option, just lots of good ones and it all boils down to a matter of personal tastes. Magnaflow for me.

i have a loud mouth 1 with the slp y-pipe, sounds pretty good...had flowmaster and hated it. had a cut-out too, but there was too much interior rattling for me personally, BUT cut-outs are def. the cheapest way to get louder and a little extra power ...wish i could get long tube's, stupid California!

I have the SLP LM2 with the y-pipe. I like it, but wish I would have gotten the LM1 instead. I dont like my neighbors, so loud exhaust is a good thing!! I live in Cali too, so no long tubes here either......

Depends on what you are looking for

    Tame- Magnaflow, hooker, slp dual/dual
    Medium/loud- Flowmaster, Borla, Corsa
    Loud- Gmmg, Rumbler, LM2
Really Loud- Cut out, Loudmouth 1.

If your going to stick with stock manfiolds I would get lm1.

Sticking with a single I-pipe catback??

Then any of the 3" catbacks mentioned here will work, just pick the sound you are looking for.

For performance I'd do a 3 1/2" or 4" Mufflex setup with your choice for a muffler.

If you're sticking with the stock manifolds and cats for a while then buy the LM2 catback and if you want louder buy the LM1 resonator. I have LM2 with everything else stock, and it sounds nice. I like the loud old school muscle car sound. I'm going to switch to the LM1 resonator when it gets a little warmer to see how it sounds. Once you get headers and a y-pipe you may want to get magnaflow or something else because the SLP exhaust gets obnoxiously loud.

A company has purchased the gmmg design and are starting to produce the exhaust again.

    lm2 + lt's and a catted y sounds wicked.
