I just saw one in pensacola today with this mod. Only caught a brief glimse. I wish I could have look at it closer.

I just sprayed a rear TA bumper for a customer and did the CETA mod for him. I used a flat clear over the color for a dull appearance. Looked really nice and won't show exhaust residue/haze. Easier maintanance I would think.
Gloss looks good too though. I think I have a pic here somewhere.

I like subtle yet a nice touch.

Those are used on more than just aircraft. They are used on spaceflight equipment too (non-flight protective covers, pre-launch locks, etc).

But yeah, Birds do fly.
