    Extreme Automatics, Finish Line Transmissions, Performabuilt, and RPM transmissions all make good and affordable 4l60e transmissions. You will be safe with any of them.

    Performabuilt is a site sponsor and a few people here have their transmissions and happy with them but I have no experience with them.

    I installed a Performabuilt Level II in our Trans Am and love it. Also purchased their converter and received a 2 year warranty. Performabuilt is based in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, and I arranged a meeting to watch them build my transmission.
