It doesn't matter if you win by an inch, or a mile. Winning is winning

nop i dont ever have any problems like that. I don't push hard at all when using it. the duster will sometimes leave the wax that is on yarn like strings tho. heres a thread to look through about the cali duster http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139656

Yeah I've seen a few threads where folks go back and forth about using the cali duster on the exterior. Some say it scratches, some don't. I think the general consensus is that so long as you only use it on a dusty car it'll be ok going forward but if it picks up any dirt or more solid particles then that might cause scratches in the future.
I have used a cali duster on two black vehicles and 1 red one and never had scratch problems...

I'm amazed at how bad some interiors are on thers cars. Mine looks brand new no cracks on the dash or door and it was a DD in MA year round till 3 yrs ago. Just so low shine dash protectant and I don't waste time with was I used a sealant instead one application every 3 to 4 months depending on how much I use it. When it was a DD I used to use the sealant evry 3 months and no issues. Aside from road chips and a little shipping on the bumper I have to repaint the car looks almost new. The only inteior issue I has was the driver seat wear mark with my friend used vinyl repair putty, regrained it to match and then re dyed that corner and blended it in. After 3 yrs it's getting a little worn againg so time for a quick fix before it gets outta hand. Just keep them clean and protected nothing worse that a new paint job and a ugly interior.

Can't say mine is perfect but I try to wash my car every week or twice a month since mine is a dd. The interior gets vacuumed once a month give or take just because of all the traffic.

My interior is always relatively clean(I live in a dusty area), but I due have some age wear. Mostly the side of the drivers seat, and some fading from sun damage. Some people to tend to give up once the car is no longer "perfect".
As for the waxing and dusting, I wax mine twice a year as well. And if you keep a good coat of wax on the car, this will help you avoid scratches from the duster.
+1 on the dash duster...love mine for that rediculously long dashboard.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
i keep my interior prestine as well and also keep the interior cali duster in my car. I hate seeing these cars not taken care of...one guy in my old apt complex also had nbm ta but never took care of it...antenna broken, bent and always up, the front end near the two lower "nostrils" rust and water stains and wheels look like copper from all the caked on brake dust, couldn't imagine what i would see if i looked in his car

Yeah, I hate seein any Bird that's being neglected. I'm VERY particular about mine. Of course I do drive it, they are meant to be enjoyed, but I use a really good polish and detail spray. I just put the 1st coat of polish on mine today since she's been repainted

mine was wrecked before i got it (not salvaged), so it will be in the shop next week for a new hood, right front and rear quarters, and paint job.
