    Bad interiors and people envy.....

Driving home from work yesterday, I noticed a couple of Camaro's and 1 TA at the local car wash. (hang out spot) So I pull in to talk with a couple of the guys, and they were amazed at how clean the inside of my car was.....no cracks, clean carpet, no cracked door panels.....and when I look into their cars they are beat to hell! I know that everyone on here takes care of their cars (or I assume they do) But how often is it that you can say my car is over 10 years old and the interior as well as the exterior still looks brand new! I get pissed if there is even a speck of dust on my dash..... Just something to think about.....

Sorry that this is unrelated but i see that you have the 18 and 17 inch staggered wheels. I think it looks awesome. Are they 17X9.5 and 18X10.5's? If so I was wondering what size of tires you are running. Thanks.

Good job! Getting compliments always makes my/your/our day! And I completely agree with you about dust. I keep a cali duster behind the seat, and it comes out at red lights as needed!

Cali duster? Aren't they too big to use on the dash?

waxing once a moth is overkill too the extreme if you garage your car.

you only need to wax 2 a month max with a good wax..i tend to wax 2-3 times..but mine is not garaged and is DD'd year around . but for your i would say 1-2 times..probably once you take it out and right before you put it away (even though it probably doesnt need it.

I wax mine about twice a year. It never sees rain, and I use mothers or meguiers detail spray on it all the time in between.

i have mine fully detailed once a year. this includes a clay bar, wax and buff, and a paint sealant application. I've put maybe 3,000 miles on mine all year. It sits in the garage with the car cover on it and I clean it after every time after i drive it. cali duster and then quick detail spray w/ microfiber. Does the trick and makes the car look amazing every time i drive it. both cars looks brand new inside and out.
