I have never seen such destruction from a clutch giving out. that's just crazy! Total loss or not it's fixable. Though it's gotta suck to be him. Imagine that happening during a 2-3 shift at the track or something? Suddenly your clutch is sticking out of the door of the car in the next lane like wtf!?

    wow...

That's an LS7 intake on an LS7 engine...that intake flows fairly nice for a 7.0L engine.

He says the clutch was rated for his hp...there is no way to tell if that is the truth or if the clutch already had a lot of miles on it. He also said the company warrantied the clutch, so it can't be that old, but once again, you have o rely on him being truthful.

Floorpan, engine block, headers, bell housing, windshield, dash, and anything else that got in the path of those pieces.

Yeah it sucks, but our cars aren't worth that much anymore, and insurance companies look at the car as stock, not with a $10k motor under the hood.

Very correct, dash, floor board, bell housing atleast, firewall, ls7 block, ls7 wiring harness, headers. Thats probably the value of the car right there if you include labor.

That is NOT an LS7 intake. Look at the runners not even the same height.

That is an ls6 intake in the vid.

Lol great, most hardcore guys would just buy a new block. Eitherway, pulling the engine, replacing whats broken, re installing, the labor on the dash, floorboard, tranny and the parts would be pretty damn close if not more than the value of the car. And insurance quotes take into account the labor since they would have to pay them.
