White- 1999 Trans am Convertible
Sorry no luck on the "A4" part, but funny thing is I just was reading a Motortrend article on a stock 98 trans am (non-ram air). They posted 13.4 second quarter mile@ 107.3 mph. (0-60 was 5.1 seconds).
I was researching because my Mustang-loving friend was going off about the "Bullitt". Funny enough, Motortrend found the Bullitt to run 0-60 in 5.0 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.7 seconds @ 102.7 miles. Funny that a 10 year old Trans-am could overtake the 2008 Bullitt, but I suppose it is to be expected!
As for the A4 thing, I can't recall where I've read but I think the A4 is just fractions slower than the M6. In fact it's my opinion that an A4 could run with and probably take more M6's than LS1.com members would care to admit. Let's face it, in the "real" world with such a small margin of difference the M6 driver would need to be perfect to be faster. I would wager that only a small % of us could shift consistantly as well as a pro or drivers from say, MotorTrend.
To give you an example, I had an encounter with a newer corvette (I didn't start it and I know that physics dictates that he will take me with some ease). After his taunts (he was a dick) I hammer down, he does too, put I don't think he got his gears just right, (long story short) although we only ran for a 1/4 mile he wasn't able to pass me- had he had an automatic, even with me hammering down a split second sooner, he should have caught up and start to pass me (I barely had a second on him!)
Hope this all helps!

I ran a 14.151 @101.75mph but, I'm slow. The car was totally stock and now I'm not sure what it would run after I've modified the air box and lid. I'm old though.

LOL. That is part of the thrill. You never know when you will be a winner or a loser. Are you a gambling man?

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro Z28
My my ex-car, a 2002 WS6 firebird posted a best 13.02 @ 109mph if I remember correctly that was the best pas before I added a cam. My wife's 2000 Camaro Z28 posted a best 13.5 at 106mph bone stock. That car is no longer stock and I haven't taken it to the 1/4 track to find out yet. Since it is set up for mostly a RR and Auto-X.
