my buddy has some with the hole instead of the 5 star, those stars really look good. wonder how the holes will look on a white T/A.

Hey thanks for the pics... reason I asked also is that my buddy has a set with good tires. I could get them for about 500 bucks than the center line, the ones with the holes and tires for that price. but not sure if the holes will look as good as the stars.

To be honest....I didn't buy them for looks.

I bought them because they are 75 pounds lighter than my TTII's...which I ride around on for street use. That and I run Hoosier QTP's for the strip, and those don't last or do so well on the street.

i am working on putting a set of billet specialties 15x10 street lites on. i will get the skinnies up front in the spring. it is a pain to get 15s to fit on our cars.

They don't fit over the calipers.

Up front, with the 15x3.5" and 1.75" backspacing, you can run a 5/8" spacer and clear the calipers.
The rear though...it took me 1 1/2 hours a side grinding the calipers to get the 15x10" wheels to fit.

Okay...thanks for that info cuz I didn't know that you had to fool with grinding.

    Damn.

I rented a 7" angle grinder, and just went to town. Went you think you are close....you are halfway there.
Took so much off, I was worried about the caliper staying together.

I still run a small spacer on the back to make sure they stay clear. They clear when cool without the spacer, but I run it just to be sure.

Never heard that one. I know LT1s require less grinding and most likely have smaller rear calipers.

? I just know my rims don't scrape but my 98 isn't a ws6 either, my 01 ss has larger calipers. I do plan on getting larger rims so I can upgrade the brakes though.
