    It has a big wing!

Question Any tips on how to shoot your car?

    With a camera of course...

I have been wanting to take my car out for a little photo shoot but have noticed it's a bit difficult to shoot a black Trans Am...

What lighting conditions do you guys recommend? I tried in the middle of the day (very sunny out) and the car comes out looking,uh...well...black!

What I mean is waaaay too black as in no detail...

I'm still going to experiment some more but,I was just wondering if you guys had any tips in photographing a black TA *cough* (Mr Lous) *cough*

    Thanks guys!

i do mine on days when its overcast, the darker and menacing the clouds, the better, makes the sky look cool with a good filter, i find that direct sunlight doesnt make for a good picture, there are some who will disagree, this is just my experience

Yeah I noticed that a bit with my old SS... The cloudier it was the better the pics came out. The SS was silver so,in bright sun light it would seem kind of washed out looking...

Any more tips guys?Let me hear them! Thanks!

Just dick around with the settings on the camera.
Midday will kill you if the sun is out.
Don't get too pretty with angles and backgrounds.

An ANCIENT Canon Powershot bought in 01' or so... here is a pic of my old SS taken with it. Nothing planned just when it was for sale.

    Another couple...
