Black 2002 T/A M6- Green 1997 Ram 4x4
A set of Longtube headers, and have a shop make you a good true dual exhaust setup. Let them dump it behind the axle and you'll save money and gain noise.
After that, depending on how much money you've got left, get her breathing a little better with a lid, LS6 or FAST intake, cold air kit, and maybe a throttle body.
That'll keep you busy for awhile and probably eat up the rest of your money.

Stay away from SLP first off. Im sure others will chip in later about this.
If its an a4 put a 3600 or higher stall in., that will wake it up.
Cheap mods are exhaust and intake(headers, lid, true duals).
You can get your throttle body ported fairly cheap as well. It helps quite a bit. Then get a FULL tune and you will be happy.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Ws6 T/A
First of all I'd like to say thanks for getting me straight on what to do. I'm pretty much a rookie when it comes to knowing what to do with my car. I'm going to try what you guys suggested and see how things turn out. Thanks again for the help I can use I can get. By the way I have an a4.
Later--K Dog 33

Get some longtube headers, probably some pacesetters and then get an LS6 or fast intake and def get magnaflow catback.. they sound really nice with the headers and get some pretty good HP also.. it will have a nice rumble at idle and when u get into it it will sound REALLY nice.

Bright Rally Red- 2002 Camaro SS
None of the above ideas are bad at all, but I think you can get quite a bit more out of your money than just exhaust and a pulley.
If you have $2500 I would lontubes (of your choice - research them!) and a true dual setup. Get an LS6 intake, and I would also get a cam (again research these!) and an underdrive pulley. You can get a new cam for around $400 and an underdrive for $150ish. This may put you closer to around $3000, so if you don't have the money for decide what you want the most.

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
if the car is an automatic, get a stall converter, its the best upgrade out there for an auto trans.
let say you go to speed inc. to have that done, its gonna cost about 1500 or so and thats for installation, stall converter, trany oil cooler, shift kit and tuning.
with the 1k left, coated pacesetters and hooker exhaustthats about 900.
to install it is going to be about 350 or so.
while i went a little over you budget, above can shave almost a full second of e.t from your car2000 nhra edition formula
a few bolt ons, 379 rwhp
