Any suggestions?

I have a 02 a4 WS6 with only 3,900 miles on her. The only mod is that the previous owner (older guy) put a silver pinstripe on her and I hate it, and to make things worse its painted on.

Any suggestions on getting it removed, I heard easy off oven cleaner may work but im scared to try it.

Maybe I should just take it to the body shop....

hmmm yea only 3900 miles i would forsure take it to a real good trusted body shop you dont want to mess up a car like that with those kinda miles IMO

Take it to any good shop. You can wet sand it off then just buff it back. Not much different than removing scratches in clear. May come off with some reducer or thinner as well but best to leave it to a pro that way they can buff it after to get rid of any remaining line. The oven cleaner thing scares me alot.
