I had taken my purple trans am to the corvette doctors in li and they were great.I know the guys and they are great but i think for like a cam and stuff it would be out of my price range.I had my car dyno tunned by them owesome!!!!!!!!!!

Well I don't have huge experience with either of those places but considering I'm upstate, New Era in Rochester was pretty great. Met the owner and while I was there, they were taking their 1000+ hp C5 Z06 to the track and had some dude's ZR1 there. Apparently he just bought it and had it delivered right to the shop :P. Still had plastic on it and all haha. Just my .02.
Had a nice talk with them, they know their stuff.
Edit: just noticed your location. Hence the LI and eastern region suggestions. My b
