White- 1999 Transam WS6
Another car being sold (interested in it) Comment?
May remember my 2000 trans am post, but this one was just listed and its closer to me (no price found yet, sent dealer an e-mail and going to contact them tomorrow).
Link: http://www.getauto.com/autolinks_car...-/x_dealer_id-
Any comments, and can anybody do a VIN check on it to tell if its an authentic WS6? (it has the badges, the hood with "ram air", and the rims).
Does it look stock/does something look odd?
and hey third shift studios, it has the better seats

How much does this guy want? Even if it's a clone, might get a substantial price break. Is this another cigar smokin' independant roadside dealer? I don't know how many people are buying the V8s right now, probably not many, even though I just bought another V8. Stake it out and see if it moves a lot, or sits in one spot. The guy I got mine from said (bs bs bs) that a buyer had been approved but hadn't been back. Probably found a nice little Civic. I also see many many SUVs on the used lots suddenly.
BTW, I'd think this was the real deal.Last edited by Cheviac2K; 06-10-2008 at 08:26 PM.

V8 true, but this seems to be from a pretty big Honda dealer(lol, they one have one Pontiac, this one). If its a reasonably good price it will probably move fast, the last ws6 I saw I was about to buy, but it was sold like 3-4 days before I was gonna go actually make the purchase; it was on the lot for about 3 weeks. He had a '98 with about 52k miles asking 15k for it. It was an authentic ws6 in pretty good condition, but it had a very small stain in the rear seats, didn't have the CD player and had the downgraded seats.
Now, we can make love in these comfortable seats third_shift! j/k!
Yea, I've read about all the differences, I've been following and reading about Firebirds for a couple of months now.(pretty much have a lot of my initial mods planned out already). Was originally going to buy the 05+ mustang s197s for like over a year, but then I started reading more about the f-body ls1s and fell in love with their engine-only capabilities, and the ease in which engine mods can be done. Most people on 'stang forums are scared to touch the modular engines internals and they don't get a big increase by doing it either(cams, heads, etc.), but everyone on ls1 forums seems to say rip your whole engine apart and do it yourself(simple pushrod tech ftw).
Hopefully, I'll be joining you guys in bird haven soon

They e-mailed me quoting me at 17k for the car, but today on their website they put the price as 16.5k. The dealer is already trying to bullshit me and I haven't even entered their lot! Burn the Honda dealers! Lets see how low I can get this car, 17k is way too much!
