So i went up to Big o tires and wanted to buy some tt2 but the guy that works there told me that the backspacing is wrong and they wont fit so i ended up getting the ttm. My issue is if you look on the ar website and look at what rims fit your car it shows that the vintage tt2 polished 17x9.5 with +46mm will fit so why is he telling me they wont fit when i have seen tons of photos with them on a TA?

The car is a 98 TA

i did do the research and told him exactly what i wanted but he called there vendor and was like yep they wont fit and its the only wheel shop round here for 100 miles

i any body got polished tt2 17x9.5 on all 4s that are pretty new and some good tires i would trade

already did today and it was the same argument that tt2 only come in a 00 offset and i argued with him that on the ar website they had the polished 17x9.5 with 46mm and the ttm is 45mm wtf

I had that same issue with Big O when I bought my wheels. I had to print out the specs for them so they could order what I wanted.

I didn't buy the TT's at all. I bought some Boss Motorsports 304s. That was 2 years ago. They are 18x9.5 but I don't remember the backspacing or offset.

just take them back and tell the guy you dont give a crap about what he says, just give you the damn tires you want and mount them and put them on the car.
