    Airbox Question

I just tried to post this a second ago - sorry if it shows up twice.

I got a 99 Trans Am about a month ago and am about to start doing some mods to it. the airbox in this one looks different than the one on my 98 Z28 and I don't know if this is stock, if I should switch to a lid, or what to do with this. It has a weird, poorly fitting, foam ring that I guess is meant to seal it to the hood better. Your opinion is appreciated.

wow...I guess the box under the lid is different too. This might be an LT1 intake. Your car has the ram hood ? If so, I would change it all...
