If you truly want it as close to stock as possible I could sell you my stock upper lid off my car.

but any aftermarket lid would give you better flow than the stock ws6 upper lid.

There are 2 that I can think of that will give you a true Ram Air setup. One is the Vollant setup and the other one I can't remember the name exactly but it was a Fast Toys or something like that but it was ugly as home made sin IMO. The Vollant is pretty cool though but you don't see it for sale much.

A WS6 breathes from the front of the airbox, not the lid. If you breathe through the lid on a stock setup, you'll be bypassing the filter.
Search under "free mods", you'll see one for a way to turn a stock box into a "Ram Air"...

I have the K&N FIPK II intake system. It is legit. Highly recommend it.

Actually, the WS6 is not a true ram air hood. The hood does not seal directly to the airbox and there are baffles in the nostrils. You could modify the hood by removing the baffles and sealing the hood, but then you run the risk of hydrolock if you drive in rain. I've been fighting with myself over doing this mod for some time. Only problem is my WS6 is a daily driver and I live in florida where it rains almost everyday.

There was a kit called the BG ram air kit, but it is no longer sold. I believe that they were having a problem with hydrolock even with the rain blocker plate in. It is a cool setup if you can find one for sale.

the best way to go for a true ram air affect is to go onto ws6store.com and get an airbox lid, it will cost just under $100. Then cut or dremmel the underside of the airbox, where there is no metal at. This will cause the air coming up by the radiator to get pushed into your intake. That will create your "ram air" setup. If you have a dremmel it will only take about 10 minutes to cut. Quick dirty easy. hope this helps
