    Air Bag 2002

    Is it possible to replace the air bag cover or is it glued to the dashboard. mine is warped from the sun beating on it.

    2002 Trans Am WS6 (M6)

    It can be carefully (almost) removed by carefully prying it lose with a screwdriver or something flat. HOWEVER, it is held in back by heavy webbing which keeps it from hitting the passenger when the airbag deploys. The cover can be recovered and reglued but I'm not sure about replacing it by reattaching the webbing.
