    Adjusting headlight?

How can i adjust my headlights? After the body shop fixed my car they seem to point down more and i would like to move them up a little so i could see farther without using my high beams

I just aimed mine down this weekend. Manually raise the light take the black piece off the surrounds the lights as you would if you were replacing a bulb. Get the torx screwdriver you use to take the housings out there will be I think one torx screw on the side and one on top in the center; use those to adjust the lights. The top one aims them up and down.

Why would you manually raise them? Turn them on at night, and put a towel over one side. Aim the first side, then switch the towel to the other side. Piece of cake. You don't have to remove any plastic bezels. Just turn the screws (torx T-15). I actually keep that bit in my car at all times. They get rattled, or you get flashed too much, one turn is usually enough to bring them down a bit. This is for when you have the car loaded. Extra passengers, etc.

then you need to remove the plastic bezel, and the metal frame theat holds the bulb in place. pretty easy.

Make sure that the power cable to that headlight didn't come loose. I went to replace a lamp that I thought was bad, only to discover the power cable had come loose. It had caught on an interior corner and pulled loose when the headlight raised/lowered. Especially since it was just in the shop, a cable mighta been pulled loose or not reconnected tightly...

Nah, there's the power to the motor and the power to the lamp, they are different. The power to the lamp is more loosely situated...

    doh!

At least he was in a good enough mood to just give a warning. All the cities in my area are broke, so they give tickets for every offense. One city was just in the local news, being rebuked by the state for using traffic citations as blatant revenue generation...
