G'day and welcome to the site. Did you replace both sensors, or only one side? You might also check the wiring, and make sure there are no knicks or breaks in the wiring, and you have a good connection at the plug.

how do you know the right rear is the problem? Did you get the codes pulled and what were they?

As 0rion stated, find out what brake code it is throwing and post that up. A difference in front to rear tire diameter may trigger an ABS/TCS light on your dash.

that little bit of a difference won't cause any problems. Yes....you can try to clean everything up and see if that cures your problem.

my tires are only different in width ..i had a code from before that told me right rear but ya i planned on cleaning bth rears but checking the abs ring make sure no chips or cracks are in it ..then get the code checked juss so i no its not the rear and if it is it would be the sensor or maybe my wiring but this car only has 64,000 garge kept its whole life never seen a winter

my code comes up as right rear circuit malfunction...is that in the wiring ?

no actual code number? Ciruit malfunction doesn't narrow it down much at all. Could be the sensor, could be the reluctor, could be the abs unit, and could be the wiring. The odds usually say it's a sensor problem. You can ohm out that sensor to check it. I'd have to see if I can find what that should ohm out too.....last one I had to ohm out was on my old truck and that's been 2-3 years ago. There are some gm techs floating around here so maybe one of them will be nice and look that up for us.
Worst case scenario is you can ohm out the left speed sensor and then compare it to the right.Last edited by 0rion; 04-20-2012 at 05:50 PM.
