i have a 98 t/a with lumbar and driver side power adjust, my question is, the headrest on my seat looks like...



..an lt1 headrest. (NOTE, THESE CARS ARE NOT MINE FELLAS)


while the controls for the lumbar etc are all ls1 like shown at the bottom of this pic...




is this factory for early 98 cars or something? i love the curvy lt1 headrests but i'm wondering if its original or not?

97 is an LT1, my stepdad's 97 WS6 had those seats and headrest. But different controls of course.

i have seen them in 97's.

note that the round headrest was for lt1 cars with leather, if you had a cloth interior you got the flat style. i have seen a round one in cloth but might have been custom

my car is not a convertible unfortunatly, i'd love to have one, and will get one someday. the first pic is not mine, sorry for confusion

I ordered a '98 from the factory, but didn't have those headrests, mine were like most you see that are much flatter on the forward face. Mine was a later in the year '98, I think I ordered it in June, and recieved it in Oct....

my car was built august 14(one day before my b-day) 1997, i think its safe to say its an early bird
