99 Trans Am Battery/Charging System Problem
Hey everyone,
I'm having a problem with my 99 Trans Am. It just started about 2 weeks ago and no changes have been made before it began happening. If my car sits for 8 hours or more, the battery is too drained to start the car. The battery is about 1 year old. I also replaced the alternator last week. All connections look good. I took it to 2 different places to have a system check. Alternator is 14.0 volts......battery tests good......system draw with car off passes at about 0.1amps. I do get an occasion DTC code of
P1637 Generator L-Terminal Circuit.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating. I'm still thinking it's the battery too. I have a 95 Trans Am with the same battery and about the same age so I swapped them tonight to see if the problem stays with the car or the battery. Thanks for your help.
