99 Trans Am 30th anniversary edition

is there any way to prove that the car is a 99 anniversary edition the wheels have been changed and the stripes have been professionally removed because they had started to peel... is there a code on the door or something in the Vin that i can cross check?

unless you are getting it on the cheap, i wouldn't bother with it.
Does it have the anniversary seats and the dash plaque thingy by the cupholder?

Im sure you could cross check the vin with GM to find out for sure.

Its not the wheels that are impossible to get. They are expensive, but available. Its the floor mats that are impossible. i've been looking for 6 months and can't find them anywhere. Oh, and there should be an identification card in the leather bound owners manual that has a matching vin#

my brother is looking at the car...
they were asking 17k for it but he has talked them down to 13.5k, the car has a small ding over the right quarter panel. and the dealership is the one who decided to have the stripes removed instead of repair/new ones... the original owner changed the wheels...

stupid for the dealership and stupid for the original owner.. i'd walk away no reason to get it like that unless it's a collectors with the things you'll look hard to replace. if you're looking for a CE you can find one just gota wait.. took me 4 months and 300 mile drive to find mine.
