99 headlight linkage
Does anyone sell just the headlight linkage itself. I have replaced the plastic gear with a coated aluminum one and that aspect of the unit works great. My problem is that the linkage has apparently been removed a "few" times. It appears to be binding either or up or down spontaneously. I think it is possible that it is bent from removing from the motor more than once. To get the light working again, I remove the linkage switch the light "on" or "off", then when it stops I connect the linkage and it will work for a while and then it will stick again. I just hate to buy the entire headlight assembly for this part. Any ideas is appreciated. Thanks

You have a little movement in the headlight housing where it bolts to top of radiator brace. You can also oil the linkage contact points. Sounds like you have binding. And maybe you need to straighten out the linkage.

everything is verrrry tight. I will lubricate the linkage and try to straighten the linkage. Thanks for the input
