98 ws6 vs 98 vette

Ok i have a 98 ws6 a4 with slp loudmouth 2 and a lid and my buddy's dad is getting a 98 vette with a4 this week and we are going to run them. My car has 16,000 miles on it and his has 50,000 miles on it. Im sure the vette will win but how close will it be or will i just get smoked??

what gears u got 2.73 or 3.23... i think the vette will have better gearing, less weight, more aerodynamic... so he'll prolly pull u, but i would think it would be close

you may actually pull him a little. I ran against a vette back when I had my other car with about the same mods and pulled a half car on him up to about 100. Him being an A4 will hurt him a little if you can drive that is.

he has 2.73 gears and my car has 3.23's. We will probably race from a dig and a role. It should be fun not really worried about the outcome.

it'll be close, he's lighter, but stock. might be a tie-try to get him upto 140ish i'd like to know what an auto does after 3rd gear runs out.
