The only downside I have found to my 98 is the heads are better on the later years and after the cam the tuner had to put more time in to get the cam, stall, 3.73's and everything going perfect. He said it would have been easier if it was a newer model like his 1999 Vette since the computer is better. Other than that no dash cracks or door cracks just the usual issues like power window motor and of course water in the blinkers but I have had this car since 98 and never spent a dime on anything but mods, rear rebuild, and my AC finally died but I do live in TX and I am from MA so I use my AC alot more than most.
