    97 to 98 motor

    Hello everyone my 98 v6 auto firebirds engine blew and I need some help with a new one. I found a reasonably priced 3.8 v6 from a 97 v6 firebird manual. My question is, will this engine fit in my car? And is it compatible with my auto trans and is the wiring/ computer the same. Thanks for any help!

    they are the same engine. you'll need to transfer your flex plate.
