94 "Special Edition Formula V8"?
Does anyone have any info on a 94 "Special Edition Formula V8". Its red with the white stripe down the middle like the T/A, grafficks on each side and burgandy leather interior. It also has the 25th Ann. rims and stitching on the seats. I looked everywhere on the internet for it but found nothing.

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
1994 : The 25th Anniversary would bring back the Trans Am special edition. Powered by the LT1 350 'Corporate' V8 that had a 4 speed automatic transmission. It also had a "perform" button on the shifter.
Pleased with the success of the Firebird, Pontiac chose not to make too many changes to the 1994 model. The convertible Firebird was reintroduced though, along with a special 25th Anniversary white and blue Trans Am. A special GT version was also unveiled that featured sleek leather seats and a 'skip shift' feature on the six-speed manual that would force an upshift from first gear to fourth to provide for better fuel economy. This new feature immediately created a market for aftermarket skip shift eliminator kits.

Not a T/A
The car is not a Trans Am. All the markings say its a Formula. If I can post pictures of it I will.

The only 25th Anniversary cars I know of are the White with Blue trim.
Red Leather was a very rare option though.

Check out the picture on the left under my name. The lettering looks factory and the white stripe down the middle does too. Nothing looks after market including the interior and there isn't anything I can find on this car. I'm going to write down the VIN and see if it can tell me anything. thanks

It looks like some one did a clone in red.
The seats were embroidered on the headrest on true 25ths.

The seats are burgandy (or dark red) leather with with the 25th Ann. embroidered on them. If it is a clone, someone spent a lot of money doing it. I'm trying to find out who the owner is. Noone around here seems to know whose it is. It has 3 flat tires and looks like it hasn't moved in a while. It all looks original. Needs "light" restoring. Hate looking at it just sitting there. Thanks for all the imput.

Found out who owns it and he wants to sell it. He said it came from the factory with the grafficks, red leather and 25th Special Edition stitching on the front and back seats and door panels. If someone added all this stuff to it after they bought it doesnt make sense. Why not just make it a T/A 25th. It would be cheaper to do it that way instead of custom made stuff. I guess I'm just hoping it is a low production special edition car. Going to buy it anyway.

Black- 1998 Trans Am WS6 'Vert
http://www.compnine.com/vid.php?vin=2G2FV22P0P2201444
This says the car is a '93 Formula, Red w/ graphite cloth interior:
12B TRIM COMBINATION CLOTH, GRAPHITE (B) (92) CLOTH TRIM(12B)
This car did not leave the factory w/ red leather interior, nor is it a '94. The seller is full of BS.

At first I thought it was a 94 because it said 25th special edition which would be in 94 but after checking the VIN I found out it was a 93. I didnt talk to the owner until a few days later. I guess he assumed it came from the factory like it is. I'm wondering if a dealer did the changes to it. Someone spent a lot of money doing it and did a good job. I'm still going to buy it and fix it up to look the same. I was told there is a label in the glovebox that has the build codes on it, I'll check it out tomorrow.

Correct me if im wrong but the formula came out in 67, which would mean the 25th special edition would have come out in 1992( but I have never heard of one for the formula). Also that is not a formula front bumper, it is the bumper from a trans am.

I checked the 93/94 production sheet on another site and there was no 25th Ann. car built from the factory in red.
All 2000 25th Ann. cars were W/B/W.
I cannot post attached files it says its diabled?
