6 speed swap on an auto ws6 or formula?
I am looking to buy a 98-02 ws6 or formula, and I was wondering if it will be difficult and expensive to swap a 6 speed onto an auto ws6 or formula? Info, price, and feedback would be great. Thanks!!!

dude, just buy one with a M6 in it already and put the money towards mods, unless you have extra time and money to waste

I would just buy it with a M6. I know most of shops I checked charged $850 and up for labor and that was almost 2 yrs ago. As far as parts depends if you wanna just slap a used tranny in or have it built 1st, I looked into a built T56 is was $2k shipped. Then you gotta find the pedal setup, console(I have charcoal one if you decide to do it), Then there is the hydrailics like the master and slave cylinders plus if you get a used tranny you will want a new clutch and flywheel. So mine was around $4k to build it how I wanted it.
1998 Trans Am 85k miles.

I agree with the others. If you really want a 6-speed, find one with it already in it. I had an AT 1998 Trans Am, I really missed my stick shift, so I sold it and now have the '00 WS6.
