4th Gen T-Top Center Bar end caps

    Question:

An inspection of the current T-Top Center Bar on my 2002 Trans Am reveals a rubber end cap at the rear of the bar. There is NOT a similar end cap at the front of the bar.

I tried a number of on-line searches for an exploded view of the T-Top hardware and rubber stripping but failed to locate one that displayed the rubber piece or pieces related to the ends of the Center Bar.

I did view a video on disassembling the Center Bar and was able to vaguely spot what looked like a finishing end cap at the front of the Center Bar. However, it appeared to be attached to the body - not to the bar.

Is there an end cap missing from the front of my Center Bar? If so, I could not find an outlet that shows such a cap in inventory - do they really exist or do I have the only one?

You need to use a Flicker or Photobucket to attach the pic url.

I'll have to look at mine tonight to see what you're talking about.

Did you take a look at your Ta to inspect the T-Top Center Bar for possible finishing End Caps at either or both ends of the bar?

    Please advise.

4th Gen T-Top Center Bar end caps

Sorry. there is just the flat bar , no end caps. However I know there is a weather strip that is underneath it.

OK. I appreciate your looking into this for me. I may be looking at the end of the weather stripping.

    Thanks.
