August alone features two big Pontiac-specific shows: The Ames Performance Tri-Power Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio, on the first weekend and the Trans Am Nationals in Dayton, Ohio, on the last weekend serve as bookends that month and draw thousands of participants and spectators each.
