I have a '11 Camaro and a'00 T/A. I like both, and you can't compare the two. Differant cars all together, and both good in there own way.
As for this conversion, I like it except for the big ass wing. That car would do a back flip at highway speed.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 NBM
I think it looks pretty sweet, except the designing it convertible was a mistake. T-tops would be bad ass. Has anyone seen The trans am conversion by Otto Body Shop. That's pretty sweet too. Black with the gold chicken on the hood. Let me find the pic.

04 Cobra 'vert - M6 mysti- 02 WS6 coupe - A4 red
blah blah blah, we miss the Trans Am, so sue us... If GM won't give us new versions of the style we love, then I can't fault fans for trying to do so. Though I agree with you, I am tired of everybody going retro, too. It was 'original' when the first company did it, but the rest are just sheep...
But I think this one looks pretty sweet, real or not...

Hmm... why does it say 'TRANS T/A' on the back? That seems silly. I can't quite read the fenders, dunno if that is also Trans T/A or Trans Am...? Are they legally not allowed to use the name 'Trans Am' or something?
I'm also getting tired of 'huge wheels, thin tires'... Especially when they're trying for a retro look, it doesn't fit. These are a little much, bordering on ghetto...
