    2005 ls1 compatible with 98 trans am

    COMPLETE no starter or alt all computers, wiring,gas pedal only 50k miles on engine - $1000 - is this a straight swap with my 98 TA's 135k mile LS1?
    should I hop on this?

    Yeah the LS1 was done in the GTO and Vette after 2004. Both of those vehicles changed over to the LS2 in 2005.

    You will have to adapt the LS1/cable throttlebody to the LS2 and may have to have the motor tuned for cable throttlebody rather than drive-by-wire.
