    2002 WS6 200,000 mile celebration plan

By the end of this weekend, Gracie will have turned 189k. So the question is what to do for her when she hits 200k?

Keep driving her, unless you have problems with her.

We are talking about your car, right? LOL

Heads and cam are definately on the short list. I already have headers, so adding a turbo would make me have to buy new headers, or a heck of a lot of work to the current set.

Yea, Gracie is my car, my daughter named it that. I dont have too many problems, considering age and mileage. I need to do small bit of body work some mexhanical here and there. Once it hit 150k it really hasn’t Complained so much.

Truck manifolds reversed mount is the common setup.

But honestly like mention above...drive her.

I fully intend to. I do want to pick up a daily driver, so I can drop the ‘bird off for mods anytime I want, and mkae Gracie a fair weather flier but there will certainly be a day or two a week that it will go to work.

Muscle should be exercised, not rested inside a cozy garage for eternity

It's been a few weeks for mine. No because I want to but because I can't. Hurt my wrist Nov 12th and still not able to shift with the right hand without pain. Even with a brace. Driving my nuts. Last weekend I sat in it at idle so it didn't feel neglected. I went to the store in it and it was depressing. Couldn't shift easy.

Putting a stash together to replace the PS pum0, reservoir, and hoses for Gracie.

On a cold start it sounds like I have an 871 under the hood!

Just saw this thread,,,, so when do you think ole Gracie will hit 200,000 grand mark ?? Pretty significant mile stone ! My 05 GMC Envoy just went over that mark last month! It would be nice if you manage a daily driver though. Best thing I ever did for mine -- drive it when you WANT to ;-)
