    2002 black NON-WS6 6speed trans am...

...at 55k miles for $13.900. is it worth it? Dealership WILL NOT go down a penny less than 13.9.

Engine looks like it has been modified but not sure what has been done to it. Here is a picture:

I would greatly appreciate your inputs. I offered 13k and then did not accept it. I personally dontr want to do it at 13.9 and a bit scared of modified engine.

    Thanks.

You are saying nice and good but, seriously nobody sells their T/As at around 50k any less than that....

I guess I will go buy another mustang... I am bored of my crossfire. I think she is a great ride but I want some muscle.

Also, what is done to that engine? I cant tell by looking at the pic. I just know he has done something to it.

P.S. i dont know if this makes a difference but they claim that this car is NHRA special aedition.

The NHRA will bump the price a bit, but still.....$14K for a base T/A?
Mine would probably only sell for that. With 46K on it.

Willing to drive to get the car Erdal?

From what I've seen, that's an average price for a dealer sale. It would/should be less on a private owner sale...

I paid 17k for my 02 WS6 with 36k miles on it to a dealer last year. And at that time it was on the low end of prices for 01/02 WS6s with that mileage range that I was seeing at dealerships.

i thought so too,but kellyblue book (kbb.com) says $14,385,but that assumes "excellent" condition,i did add the nhra pkg (thought that could only be had with ws6)and t bar roof. however,it is widely known in the car business that kelly blue book's values are inflated.

Well since you committed to 13, give the manager your card and tell him to call you when he is ready to sell. Expect a call towards the end of the month. They either got the car in on trade or an auction so they spend no more then $10,000 guaranteed.

Not dropping $900 is chump change when it comes to sittin on or selling a car. Especially on a lot.

Have your dad or another friend go in there and low ball them. Now your offer of 13 looks pretty good.

Take printouts off autotrader or even on here of ads for similar trans am's for sale. They will see that the market value of the car they are trying to sell is not what they are asking... They can sell or sit.... their choice

check on the door codes to see if it has the 1SH code on it, if so its an NHRA.

i dont care if it was a 10 second car(seeing it has seem NO2 before it HAS to be a 10 second car.

WAY to much with the 4thgen values today...much better deals out there to be had dont let this dealership screw you out of your money.

...not that a dealer would try anything like that.

like knight said,a dealer/salesman will want to sell before the end of the month, offer them 13 firm and leave,if they want to sell they will call you back.or go back and try to find a young/new salesman,he will damn near give the car away to make a sale.the older more experienced guys could care less, they probably have sold more cars and have a pretty good commission check coming, the young/new guy that needs sales will give you a much better price.that's how the sales game works, the more you can make on the car the more you get as your commission.

I have to agree I have seen C5's with similar mileage for a couple grand more that with just CAI's and a catback which. Best if you could get a loan yourself and buy private party since you can always get a better deal and see who owned the car. My friend sold his 2000 NBM Z28 M6 with a few bolt ons and 38k miles in great condition for $10k.
