Taupe/Red- 2001 Trans Am Conv
2001 Trans Am production #'s????
I'm happy for all you WS6 owners but someone must have production number breakdowns for the regular T/A. I have seen Camaro numbers all over the place yet I can't find T/A. I mean the actual breakdowns by color, options, etc just like posted for the WS6 guys. Appreciate any help. I've fired off three e/mails to Pontiac who must outsource their questions to India as I haven't had a decent reply yet.

Taupe/Red- 2001 Trans Am Conv
I guess no one has them or I would have seen something somewhere. I'm tired of searching. I guess you would have to have an 'in' with someone at Pontiac to get the numbers. I realize it is time consuming for someone to do.

Thank you BBATCAR
I appreciate your response but these were posted at LS1 previously. I really wanted detailed breakdowns by color, options, etc.. I did get an answer from Pontiac today and they said they can't even furnish how many convertibles there were that year. Pretty bad, huh...

#'s
I Also Was Told By Pontiac That They Had No Breakdown By Model, Color, etc. It Must Exist Somewhere!!!! I Did Find A Little Information At Trans Am World Website, Example 3832 T/a Ws6 Coupe, 3257 With Hurst. Also Pontiac Stated There Was Only 14204 Total Firebirds Produced In The 2001 Model, But This Does Not Jive With The Info Above. I Think Pontiac Needs To Get On The Ball.

Taupe/Red- 2001 Trans Am Conv
Pontiac sent another message
At least they are courteous but again they said they do not have the information. This was from a manager this time. I sent back another reply explaining that their is a breakdown for 2002 models so why not 2001? I may have hit the end of the road. I know they have better things to do than worry about a Trans Am owner whose car is 5 years old already. I guess I should be happy just knowing there were 396 T/A convertibles and 796 WS6 Convertibles produced in 2001. Pretty low numbers.

I Am Hoping Someone Out There Will Locate The Missing And What Seems To Be Highly Secretive Numbers. I Even Found 2002 Breakdown Listed In A Book At The Bookstore But 2001 Was Skipped Over. Hmmmmmmm, Wonder Why?

Taupe/Red- 2001 Trans Am Conv
Info DEEPLY Appreciated
Thank you 98 Gold Formula!! May I ask where you were able to obtain these numbers? They don't correspond (add-up equally) with Trans Am World posted above or www.marshu.com
I need a back-up so that when others (car shows, etc.) ask me where I obtained these numbers I can answer them with something other than "a guy on the internet" plus with certain accuracy. Again thank you very much!Last edited by Wayah-bird; 03-11-2006 at 03:38 AM.

396 T/A's Verts & 796 WS6 Verts
These are the numbers posted by the above mentioned sites. Yours equalled 779 convertibles. Something is missing from either yours or the above. Thanks!

Gold- 1998 Formula
These numbers came from ASC Andrea.
These were sent to me when I asked How many SOM converts were made I asked here to give me the run down and this is what was given to me for the ws6's breakdown.
My car was the second car made that year from asc (second ws6)
It was one of 6 pilot cars.
I'm sure these are very close.
This is all I have. I'm like you love the numbers thing hope this helps.

Yeah those are the WS6 numbers only. Thanks for the reply! I'll keep trying to get the Trans Am numbers that are not WS6. It's not looking good though.
