1995 Firebird convertible question

I am looking at a 1995 Firehawk and have a question about the trim between the trunk and where it meets to convertible top. This car only has a piece of rubber trim running along the trunk edge. I had a 2002 SS convertible and it had body colored trim that covered that area. Is this normal or is it missing trim? If someone could post a pic of their car so I could get a look that would be appreciated.

I searched on google images and could not find anything detailed enough.

You know in all my years of looking at these cars, I never took notice to what that looks like.

So tell us a bit about the Firehawk.

Depending on the model and year (93-02) there were several different pieces of trim in that location. Take a look on the inside edge of the opening where the top comes up. If there is a rubber strip attached to the body on the inside between the quarter panel and the top then your car probably didn't have a molding beyond the trunk lid. Take a look at the photos on this car for sale ad.
