140k miles??

Would any of you guys buy a 98 A4 ws6 with 140k miles? and if so how much would you pay?

Depends on the shape of the car if I would buy it or not. How is the interior, how does it run ect. Probably looking in the 5k-7k range, give or take a little if it's a dealer or private seller.

Its a private seller, I havent seen it in person yet but he describes it to be well maintained and in overall good condition. It also has some 20 in. black rims, headers and underdrive pullies, and an aftermarket cd player. He's asking $8,200 but says its negotiable

If it has been taken care of then I would say its worth looking at. When you look at it and if it's in good shape then offer him 7k or so. My dad has a 2001 VW Jetta that just turned to 400k miles lol and its still in great shape. He just drives it 100 miles each way to work everyday. So look the car over, drive it and see what you think.

seeing as it has 20's see what he will do to get some 17's back on there and drop the price, and unless the underbody and intereior is in pristine condition. i myself would not pay more than 4-5. (but thats just me) i would have to go find another one if he is not willing to lower it quite abit. i know these engines do very well all the way till there death. but that is still a lot of miles to start at
