Z members..
does anybody else have the Z28 emblem across the bottom of their windows along with a little print of the VIN number? obviously from the factory, but ive seen many camaros and yet to see those on windows besides mine, anyone else got em?

really ive taken many close looks and it looks to be engraved in there along with the vin # on the far left but o well its cool just wanna know exactly where it came from haha

i know it wasnt the previous owner so it had to of been the original owners

I've never seen that before either. Pretty cool. Not sure why someone would put the VIN on there though...

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
VIN numbers get etched (sand blasted really) into the windows as a theft deterent measure, sometimes by the dealer as an added cost item, sometimes by the owner as an insurance thing.
While my 02 doesn't have the "Z28" on it the windows have the VIN etched into them.
OTOH, my 98 has neither.

As much cost-cutting as GM did in building these cars, I would've never thought they'd go as far as somehow putting VINs into glass

having the vin etched in my windows dropped my insurance 136.56 a year

yeah no clue why, but when i talked to my agent he said that if i got them etched it would help a lot. all they needed was a pic of all 3 windows etched with matching vins
