Black on Black on Black- 2002 Camaro SS Vert
Is your car a daily driver or not
I recently got my '02 with only 2500 miles on it. I'm interested to know how many others have low mileage cars. I don't drive daily or in bad weather (snow forecast for this thursday in MA) but look forward to the good days. I'm looking at long term for this vehicle. I know some people buy these things and put them away for good. I guy I know bought a 35th SS from the dealer back in 2002 with 3 miles on it and it's now in his 'collection'. If I end up with doing a few thousand miles a summer I'll be lucky.....What's your plan??? Just wondering out loud....

All I can say is, with that few miles on an '02, be sure to basically "re-brake-in" the engine... That engine is still very fresh and if you run it hard with how long it may have sat, you could have some issues down the road (no pun intended)...

Black on Black on Black- 2002 Camaro SS Vert
Oh I agree with what has been said so far. Believe me just today I put about 100 miles on it. It was a great ride. I plan to drive as often as possible when able to. From what I'm told the previous owner had the car garage kept and only went locally. I think they were from Georgia or one of the Carolinas.

Mines is a DD but if the weather sucks (hailing, raining with lots of flooding and all) I'll drive my truck.

2002 Camaro SS...bought it with 21K on the clock several months ago and now it's around 27K. I plan to use it as a daily driver for the most part and I'm not yet sure what it's replacement is going to be.

bought it with 21k in Aug 2005 and it was my DD until Aug 2006 when i bought an Explorer for the DD. she currently has 38k and is a semi-retired DD. i take her out a couple times a week if the weather is nice to my softball games. she's more of a pleasure car now...
