    Yes or no.

OK so i finally found a z that is to my liking. 02 z28 79000 miles, a4, silver ext, black leather int, aftermarket wheels and exhaust. I talked the dealer down to 10gs. Condition is like a eight out of ten. What do you think? Snag it up or pass?

its all in what your willing to pay. its always nice to actually be able to pay what its worth. check the blue book value and pics are always a plus.

That doesn't sound like a bad deal, but I would check blue book values.

If it's what you want then I say go for it!

No pictures yet. I am going back down Monday to take a little better look at. The salesman was actually pretty cool. I seen it on autotrader but there was no pic so I emailed the dealer for some. I just happen to be in the area tonight so i stopped in to take a look. Turns out the car was lock in there detail shop. He actually took the time to get the key and security code and drove me like five min down the rode to take a look at it. It was about ten mins before they closed mind you. Cool guy. Anyways just wanted to get some feed back. The miles are a little higher then i wanted but oh well.

LOL. I definitely had my share of close calls but i pretty much drive like a old lady so. I just love these cars. Selling my 98 z was a dumb a#@ move but after like 8 mouth of looking i might have found one.

OP: keep looking. if they said they would take 10, they are still making money. The dealer prob paid between 7-8k for that car. Blue book on out cars has gone down over the past 2 years quite a bit.

The car books for about 10. They wanted 13. The extra money for a ss in my mind isn't worth it to me for just a hood and wheels. The market for the car is showing about 10 or so also.I think 10 is a fair price.

Really? is that how a business works? What i was trying to say was that there are people out there who will sell there cars for 7-8k. so why not buy private party instead of a dealer.

Well then it doesnt really matter whats its worth or how much it costs. As long as its worth it to you.

I dont want to pay more then its worth. All the prices around here are showing that 10 would be a fair price. Thanks for the input.

I have looked for a privet party car but nothing meets the requirements. There all high miles around here. You don't see very many fbodys around here and even less for sale.
