And HOW did that happen? Did you get it fixed?

Obviously the pics above are before. Below are the after shots. Did a few minor mods while it was at the shop. Removed the badges and side mouldings and painted the grille gloss black. Took about 7 weeks to get the work done with all the BS involved.

You got that reply in before I could get the other pics posted. Got her fixed and back home about a week ago. Needs a little cleaning still, but back in one piece.
Still burns rubber nice.

Not to be a buzzkill but that nosepiece(where it lines up w/ the hood) has a way larger gap on the drivers side. I know it was wrecked but that workmanship is bush league IMO. Nice ride otherwise.
Edit- damn they only replaced one headlight?Last edited by LETHALxLS1; 08-04-2010 at 04:26 PM.

When I had my z28 t-tops. It was hard to see a camaro hardtop
Now that I have my ss hardtop I seem everywhere
I wish mine had t-tops
You didn't want it with T-Tops?

I don't like the fit either. But they are all GM parts. The body shop had a hard time getting parts that would even go on the car. 2 bad hoods and 3 fenders before they got these. And there is aabout 2 days in the fitment of the headlight in that corner.
Like said. I'm not happy with the fitment either, but thats the best they could do with overpriced junk parts and a dick of an adjuster.
Can't really tell in the pics, but the strut tower was moved back a couple inches. Fixing that ate most of the repair cost.

Dick in a pickup stopped short on the highway. I tried to stop, but didn't get traction on the gravel that was all over the road. (dump trucks droping gravel everywhere around here lately).
Thanks on the badges. I thought it would smooth out the look, plus I never cared much for the black and gray Z28. They side moulding were a little worn looking so they went too. Good to have the car back.

The fitment sucks. But you should have seen it before the guy spent a couple days fitting it. At least a 1 and a half inch gap at the top of the headlight and 2 inches at the bottom.
The one headlight thing pissed me off to. But you have to pick your battles. Another new headlight would have put it beyond the threshold of being repaired. I had to argue to get GM parts. (a mistake there) I had to argue to get it repaired even. They wanted to total it as soon as the adjuster looked at it. Took about 3 solid days of hunting online and locally to convince him he had undervalued the car and that it should be repaired.
I'll see what I can do to get the other headlight to match and post a pic soon.
Thanks for your interest.
