Windshield Cost

OK so I got this car, and the previous owner let something happen, not sure exactly what, but something hard on thr wiper arm drug against the glass for a long time, and left i nice curved gouge.

Well I was gonna leave thatm but then today, I trying to pry off one of the wiper arms, and i cracked it, a couple little short ones, and two longer ones.

Now that kind of bugs me.

So how much did any of you pay for a new windshield?

I think my buddy paid about $150 to $200 for his to be replaced. Shouldn't be too expensive.

I second that. I paid about the same for an OEM windshield replacement when some fu^$ threw a rock at mine summer before last. I'm glad I didn't see who did it....I'd probably be in prison right now.

That cheap? I heard they were closer to 4 or 5 hundred. Maybe just NY prices here.

Yeah I couldn't believe it when I got the quote, especially being such a large windshield. It was an exact OEM replacement too. I was extremely happy from the outcome of the install. Was a little worried about the window trim and all but they did a fantastic job.
