I think the people running those companies all drive merecedes, or any other car than a gm. I think they are going to waste more of our money-oh chinas money sorry.

I don't know man its lookin a little scary. GM is in more trouble than any of them. Problem is the new camaro ain't exactly gonna be fuel effiecient and who will be able to afford them. Car sales are through the toilet everywhere.
I hope they proceed with it but its anybodys guess right now.

Black 2002 T/A M6- Green 1997 Ram 4x4
We'll see it for at least a year. There's still a chance (especially with gas prices dropping..and some people predicting $1/gal in the near future) that the muscle car wars could re-ignite in full force saving all three companies. (provided Camaro doesn't ask $50k, Challengers drop in price, and Mustang falls short of both to counter Ford's marketing genius).
It's just a matter of whether or not they can weather the economic storm. This entire recession is almost entirely to blame on gas prices. Everyone's feeling the effects of 90% of the population worldwide putting all their extra money in the gas tank. Now that gas is down (and as long as it stays down), and we dont have another 9/11 or Katrina type incident...in time things should go back somewhat normal.
How much time is anybody's guess though, and how much time the big 3, especially GM, can stay afloat with things as they are now is their guess.

they've spent too much money on the R&D to not release it...they will try to recoup their costs on it.

If the Transformers want to disguise Bumble Bee he has the only new Camaro on the road! It is for this reason that GM must release the new car or Megatron will be able to find the cube.

After GM & Chrysler merge the 2011 Camaro will have a HEMI and so will the new VIPER , just speculating .
So , are the big three gonna bow out of racing or what.
Hybrid's and 4-cylinder's is what the Republicans are demanding as a prerequisist to the tax-payer bail-out .
And where does that leave the new Camaro ?
