Why are V6 Camaros are priced so high

i been looking for a Camaro for quite some time i was really searching for an A4 ttop SS or Z28 but i thought a V6 A4 ttop Camaro wouldnt be a bad idea for a daily driver,but the prices for the V6s happen to be the same as the LS1 V8 Camaros some are higher than the LS1 cars too LoL! this is INSANE check autotrader and you guys will see what i mean,i might as well buy a LS1 car and say forget a V6

lol That's because many 3800 Camaros' such as mine had more options than many z28's.

Mine was a Y87 car, also had short ratio steering, 3:42 posi rear, etc, only thing I did'nt have was leather and a V8.

My 3700 VVT I5 Hummer is only missing leather and DVD players and sun roof.

It's worth more than base model Alpha's with the LS 5.3 v8.

I should also add before my head swells too far that another price driver could be gas prices.

Many folks think that the 3800 v6 is going to get better MPG's just because it's a v6 and not a v8.

They would be wrong.. The LS1 is known to get better stock MPG's than the 3800 f-body.

When I unloaded mine @ ~130k she was tired and down to ~ 13mpg's..

By contrast I get between 18 and 22ish mpg in my 08 H3 highway.

I agree with the insane part. I traded a 97 v-6 in on my 02 SS. They are like two totally different species.....I will never have a v-6 Camaro again!!

Yeah i just trashed the idea of ever owning a v6 Camaro so my search continues for a LS1 Camaro
