White cars and chrome wheels

i'm thinking of selling my factory Polished alum wheels and getting chrome--any pictures of white cars with chrome wheels out there post them here ...

Might be able to get a better shine if you take it to a place that polishes aluminum professionally. Clean aluminum>chrome

Have you considered having them media blasted and dipped in chrome? It would probably be around the same price as getting a new set since the wheels are so big on these cars. Just my .02 worth.

My wifes white vert had the factory chrome wheels. I thought they looked great.
In my opinion, chrome is better than polished. Much nicer to just wipe the wheels off with windex and a towel.
Aluminum wheels need the polish ball and 3 hours of your time,,,I'm too old for that shit anymore No fun driving the car if I have to spend half the day cleaning it up.
For that reason, I just don't do polished aluminum anymore.

I've heard that before, but I have never once had chrome flake off any wheels I've had.

What in the world are you fella's doing to get a thread about white camaro's locked?? I know we have some real winners here,,,but damn,,,we can't talk about white camaro's without termoil???

Maybe this will help this thread along,,,,here is a pic of my wifes old vert before it was totalled. I've always like the white with chrome wheels,,,very classy look. I think the tan top sets it off.
