Ive heard the KDW's dont last long, like 15k miles under "midly aggresive" driving. Ive had my hankooks for 3 months now, I like them. This is my first time to have to buy tires, cant really comment on the tread with them only being 3 months old, but they grip really well in the rain and on dry pavement. theyre pretty damn cheap too, im thinking under 100 a tire

I have gotten 25-30k miles out of KDWs rather easily. They last real well.

Don't know you guys but i went with the cheap Riken Raptors and seem to work well. I've done some burnouts and some other things and the thread its still like new. I've had them for about a year or maybe some 3000 miles and it's all good. Also good dry/wet handling and almost no noise.

I logged on here to try and find someone who might work at a tire shop or something b/c I too caught a piece of metal on my rear 285/40 17 BFG KDW last Thursday and to my disapointment the KDW's are on national backorder and they claim there are non anywhere! I love the KDW's...BFG offered to prorate my 3 remaining tires and work a deal on the sports series but I read that they are noisy...

Anyone have access to 2 275/40 17 KDW's? I want to get 2 new fronts and put my current 275 front KDW's in the rear for a good summer beating...LOL
