All this A4/M6 stuff is confusing me. What do they mean?

Its just a aftermarket air lid that replaces the stock rescritive air box

well shit, that makes sense. are you guys talking about cutting a hole in the bottom of your airlid area to get air from infront of the radiator?

thats the ghetto rigging, so no (although it does work). 67camaro is talking about an actual cai. i have the slp one that came with a steel air tunnel that scoops in air below the filter in front of the radiator, it also includes the slp lid and the blackwing air filter. it works, but if it wasnt on the car already i would not have an "slp" intake. they are too expensive for what it is.

ya that's the one I was talking about. I didn't want to cut holes in my metal so I did a little something different. I have a pic but it's huge, anyone know how to put a pic in thumbnails?

ya I guess I'll do that. I cut some holes in the plastic so I get air fron the crack between the radiator. it should get me a couple horsies.

2000 SS Camaro.- SLPsubframe connectors, SLP strut tower brace, throttlebody bypass, SLP air bellows, K&N airfilter, SLP air lid, Flowmaster exhaust, UMI LCA's, UMI SA Panhard Bar, FAST 78 mm intake, SLP 160* thermostat. 323 RWHP 330 ft lbs.

thanks man, here's a link for a few more pics of the car, after a wash and wax. i keep her clean and have done all the mods. bought her 100% stock (@ 21k miles in Aug 2005) and she only has 38k miles now, post #12...
