What should it run?
I just got my z28, and it feels pretty fast. But it has 2.73 gears and a AT. The only upgrade is a complete SLP intake ram/bellows package. Everything else is how it came from the factory +69k on it.
I wonder approximately what can it run. . . . . . . . . . .

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
I don't know at sea level but up here in Denver at Bandimere about 5600 Ft above sea level camaros like yours run 14.7-15.1 all the time. Sucks up here we are always a second or more slower. Superchargeing really helps here.
My best is a 13.9 on street tires but I have 3.90 gears,a 6 speed, headers, ory, and lid. Here in Denver.

WoW 5600 DA wow....... Oklahoma here 1000 to 1500 DA.. Ran 13.5 stock no changes made factory tires. With just headers and 3500 stall I ran 12.5. Gears with a stock car will help for a A4 or M6. It all depends on how you want to build it. Again each car acts different to the same mod. Only way to find out is run it ... or dyno it..... If you want numbers you have to go get them.

silver- 1998 camaro
I just bought a 98 z w/ 102000 miles and bone stock in Omaha last week. At Mid America Motorplex last Friday she ran 9.22, 9.21, and 9.18 at 77.5-79 mph with very slight wheel hop (maybe a rotation or two). I have the 2.73 gear as well. I'm putting a 4.11 gear and traction bars on her today, and going out this Friday. I'll let ya know what she picks up to. I expect a ton, since she only 60 foots in 2.20, but runs the MPH of my old camaro that ran 8.60. I'm putting a 3000 stall converter in the week after, and I'll keep you posted on that pickup at the track as well.

Yes, if u need any help, just write me or anyone else. Most of the stuff is like the third gen in the rear (if you ever owned one of those rust buckets). The big thing is you have to get and run it. That's the only way you're ever gonna see. I hope my numbers can get you a good feel for what your money will get you. If your on a budget, gear and converter are arguably your biggest pickup, and it takes a day to do both.

Well i'd pm you about it but i can't. I'm looking to do all kinds of things to my car. I don't want to pay someone to do it. I'd like to see how its done and pay someone to help me with it. If you are at all interested let me know. I'll pay cash, pizza and beer, whatever you want..haha. By this spring I'm hoping to do the following:
ASP or Powerbond pulley
3600 or 3800 Stall with a tranny cooler
high 220 or low 230 cam...still need to research the one that will fit me
i'm gonna need a rear end. need lots of help with that...no idea how to swap a 9" pumpkin...someone on ls1tech said this was possible. I don't ever want to worrry about my rear end and as soon as that's in I'll put some DR's on. I heard it's possible to find one in a junk yard and rebuild it or something like that.
This should be enough for this up coming summer. So if you want to make some money or just help a guy out, or do a bit of both lemme know.
